Proceedings of the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund at a Meeting held in Room 16, City Hall, at 2 o'clock P. M., on Friday, January 24, 1902.

Present-Seth Low, Mayor; Edward M. Grout, Comptroller; Elgin R. L. Gould, Chamberlain; Charles V. Fornes, President of the Board of Aldermen, and Herbert Parsons, Chairman, Finance Committee, Board of Aldermen.

The Comptroller presented the following certificate of the appointment of Hon. Herbert Parsons, as Chairman of the Finance Committee, Board of Aldermen: NEW YORK, January 16, 1902.

GENTLEMEN-You are hereby notified that the President of the Board of Aldermen, Hon. Charles V. Fornes, at a meeting of the Board held January 15, 1902, announced the appointment of Herbert Parsons, Alderman of the 27th District, as Chairman of the Finance Committee.
