Full light green crushed levant morocco, with an elaborate symbolical design inlaid in brown, green, blue, and black morocco, representing a conventionalized picture of an oak-wood, with squirrels in the branches, and with doves on the ground beneath, the trunks and branches of the trees inlaid, and the leaves tooled in gold, doublure of dark brown crushed levant, with a single blossom of the saffron flower inlaid in the center, flies of dark brown silk, gilt top, uncut, by Rivière.

Blanc with its snow-covered slopes as seen from the Vale of Chamouni, the back cover with a quotation in a narrow border, and with the panel undecorated, doublure of brown crushed levant morocco, with a diaper of small inlaid flowers and gold-tooled ornaments, flies of brown watered-silk, gilt top, uncut, by Rivière.

Full pink crushed levant morocco, with symbolical decoration on the covers, consisting of a figure of Liberty inlaid in red and white morocco on an inlaid oval of yellow morocco, surrounded by radiating gold-tooled ornamentation, with an outside border of conventionalized clouds inlaid in white morocco on a ground of blue morocco; the doublure of dark gray crushed levant with a central panel of inlaid dark blue morocco tooled with conventionalized clouds in outline, flies of dark blue watered-silk, gilt top, uncut, by Rivière.
