His memoirs are said on the title-page to be by Mr. Harrington O'Reilly, but they are taken from Mr. Nelson's confessions. He frankly remarks that his life has been misspent, and that he would rather say nothing about it. But any casual misdemeanours or excesses of which he may have been capable in the way of business are quite redeemed by his narrative. It is of extraordinary interest to all natural minds.
