The Transactions of the National Assoc. for the Promotion of Social Science, London, were published annually until 1885. They are of high value.

La Reforme Sociale, published at 184 Boulevard St. Germain, Paris, is the most important Social Science periodical in the world. L'Economie Sociale, a monthly review published by Berger, Levrault & Cie., Paris, v. 1, 1888-9, finds its field in the relations of laborers to their employers and to each other. Its chief topics are accidents, insurance, popular banks, dwellings, sanitation, factory laws, trades-unions, labor associations, coöperation, and profit-sharing.
