This work was printed in 1726. Castelman's visit to Philadelphia took place in 1710, and bears all the marks of authenticity. In 1728 it was bound up with a work entitled "The Voyage and Adventures of Capt. Robert Boyle in several parts of the world. London 1728. It is a fictitious narrative, and has been attributed to De Foe and W. R. Chetwood, most probably the latter. The edition of 1728 is the same impression as that of 1726, with a new title page. Castelman's account is only found in the early edition.
