Since the creation of the Canadian honours system in 1967, more than 250,000 Canadians have been rewarded, yet little has been written about it. O autoru (2005)

Christopher McCreery has served as an advisor to the Canadian and British governments on questions relating to honours and holds a doctorate in Canadian history from Queen's University, Kingston. He has written numerous articles on Canadian orders, decorations, and medals.
